Basic Roman Infantry Impression
#1
Greetings All,

As my screen name implies, I teach history at Southern Regional High School in Manahawkin, NJ. Check our web site: www.srsd.net

I have been reenacting for many years, mostly Civil War, WWI, and WWII. Rome is new to me.

I would like to assemble a basic Roman infantry kit from about the 1st Century AD. I was wondering if you good people could help me as to what was needed and what suppliers sell the "good stuff."

I hope I have posted this in the proper forum. Again, thank you for your help. The impression, once assembled, will be used for school living history programs.

Thank You,
Jeff Brown

Shame you just missed Legio XX's Roman Days! You would have seen plenty of 1st century AD impressions from a wide variety of vendors. You can see some of the first photos at our website

though I think you have to sign up for yahoo. We'll post them elsewhere shortly.
