That helmet, and Time Team had to go and show a Roman wearing one recently........ :evil:

The horizontal ridge along the brow was put in place to toughen
the helmet ........ I believe that later this piece was enlarged to
double as a carrying handle.

So accurate it's got a round top, sticky-out bits, and dangly parts that flap at your cheeks. I must say it's a carbon copy of the original shown.
