We talked about trying to set this up too... weapons laws are not that big an issue, a call to the local sheriff would be more than enough... heck half our unit is cops and firefighters anyway! Swords and spears are a curiosity in most states... except some of the "blue" ones... none of which are really located along the blue ridge. I think a week would be good, plus a day to arrive and prep... maybe a day to sleep it off and have a banquet or something after it. I am up for it. and some of my guys are too, but you need a year to set it up I am sure. If you can't get the mule, you could stage stuff as well, biggest thing is support and safety.
