What Equipment Screwups Really Torque You Off?

Interesting topic over on the Yahoo Romanarmy mailing list. I thought I would modify the topic a little to avoid the political rants. The reproduction Gladii upset me. All the makers have to do is give me a blade with a full tang and a simple flattened diamond cross-section, bone handle (PEENED ON!!!) And I would be happy. Why ,Oh why do I see so many crappy swords with fullers cut into them? Don't even get me going on the pugio! The makers actually put more effort into creating a totally cheesy looking gladius than if the did it right..... I feel better now.

I guess we buy deepeka swords and just modify the hell out of them, Thus Deepeeka feels no need to improve their product.

the rest of the cheap swords out there are for the rennisance fair crowd.
