that they throw away a 1964 Folio Society hardcover edition of Suetonius' 'Twelve Caesars', Robert Graves' translation. With slipcase.

Which I have absolutely no problem with, as long as I get there before the garbagemen do.

I agree -- amazing things can come from dumpsters or the sidewalk on garbage days. Books of all sorts, lamps, calligraphy sets...
