Northern Light. A recipe given to me by the Russian captain of an Ukrainain crewed tanker owned by an Irish company based in Monaco with assets in Switzerland, flying the flag of some island somewhere in the Pacific, can't remember.<br>
Very simple: one shot of vodka (good vodka) in one glass of Champagne (good Champagne).<br>
Very efficient, surprisingly good. <p></p><i></i>

We called it Aqua Palus<br>

Take some beer mash and cook of the alcohol<br>
Take some old booze and cook off the alcohol<br>
Take a chunk of dried peat bog wrapped in cheese cloth, dip a few times in the jar of cooked off alcohol until you like the colour.<br>
Drink.. well, sip.<br>
