Matt Amt's Legio XX announces our annual Roman Days, June 4 and 5, at Marietta Mansion in Maryland, in the Washington DC area. We include both military [url:559zvcgq]http://www.larp.com/legioxx and civilian [url:559zvcgq]http://www.geocities.com/richsc53/index.html and have a great time. This year we will be putting a real ad in the Washington Post Weekend section! this should bring in a lot of visitors, so it will be very worthwhile. We have a discussion board you can join at [url:559zvcgq]http://groups.yahoo.com/group/romandays/ and keep up with the news.
Any questions let me know.

We have everything ready. Guess we don't need so many ladies from Misha's?

I going to get both my wife and daughter to come this time. With your wife's help just maybe I'll get them to wear their roman dresses.

Sounds great Lee! You'll have to let us know their approximate sizes, though with this stuff it's not all that critical to fit. I will have a 2nd shop for the caupona, which is now becoming a street, probably for Julia Passamonti to set up in.

Hey rich....what's teh deal with the feast saturday night? Aside from what's been said on the Roman Days message board...will we have access to some type of grill that we can cook an alternative to the salmon? I know Debs mentioned fire pits, but digging one up just to cook one chicken breast or something seems overkill.

Looks like we'll have a whole 12-14 pound salmon, but Allison & I think some alternative would be wise. We're considering chicken on the barbie (pilum).
Besides, I think Beth wants to have an evening out at the Coyote Ugly bar downtown.

Chicken sounds good. Easy to cook too.
What time did Beth want to go out? Evening or later at night? Anthony and I are up for anything.

Chicken sounds good for me too..
I'm not sure if my girlfriend and I are going to stay for the Sat dinner, I'll try to talk her into it.
(She's the Egyptian-dressed woman in Neuraleanus' photos of Roman Day Northeast from last year) She'll be pokin around with me at the event Saturday, and she's planning on dressing in her Egyptian kit. It's spiffy.

This year I actually got my wife to put her roman dress on. With a bit of help from Richard's wife I'm hopeful that she will once again be properly attired. I'm looking forward to see you and your Egyptian lovely at the Maryland RomanDays.

Beth and her friends are up to anything; probably after 8 or so. You can roll into the house whenever after that.
