Greek coming of age
#1
Did Greek children go through a coming-of-age ceremony akin to the Roman Liberalia? Also, what was the age of majority? Based upon this very brief hint, it looked to be 17 or 18, at least at Athens during the 4th century BC.

Well, the Spartans were reported still to be children until they'd murdered their first helot, but that may be legend only.
