Second Annual R.A.T.\'s dinner 13 of August 2004
#1
Salvete Omnes,
Once again the members of Corbvlo / Legio secunda Avgvsta are preparing to play host at Archeon for a new, fifth, edition of the Annual Roman Festival which will bring quite a few British members of R.A.T once again to Holland.
So it’s the best time of the year to organise the second edition of the Annual R.A.T.’s dinner.

Of course everyone who attended last years edition is also very welcome this year, even if you don’t post as often as you used to.
A very special invitation is extended to the newer members of the RAT, RCT and RCS fora.
For those I will explain what the RAT’s dinner is.
It’s a friendly gathering at a Chinese restaurant in Alphen a/d Rijn in The Netherlands where you, in person, do the same as on the internet. Discuss Roman history in a civilised manner.
(The same rules apply, so anyone looking for a food-fight, don’t bother.)
To attend this dinner you place your reservation on this thread by posting your screen name, real name and if applicable your group affiliation. If you don’t want to reveal your real name or anything on the internet you can also send me a private mail at [email protected] or [email protected] .
Final reservations have to be in by at least August 1st because after that time I will be to involved with the festival to do anything else.
You make your own way there and pay your own bills but of course for those staying at Archeon we can work something out. Travelwise that is, the bills are still yours.
It will be held at Friday august 13th, so I hope nobody is superstitious.
Any changes in date or place or other news will be posted here at RAT.
I hope to see quite a few people there.
Cheers,
Cordvs.
Asking me to tile your bathroom is like asking Vermeer to creosote your shed ;-)
