I dont think mice ever used the muscled cuirass. And the segmentata looks a little cheesy... I smell a RAT!
I was curious to know what legion that mouse was from. I emailed the company, inquiring, and they were able to send me this picture back. It may shed some light on this legion's demise.
Look closely at the figure. The sword is on the left side. I think the image got reversed somehow, and what appears as a IX in your image, but is obscured in the original, when properly restored would be XXI... the XXI Ratax, most certainly...
Aha!

When you do a zoom in and employ graphic imaging techniques you can see how poorly the second "I" of XII was shodily disguised.
Good try, but you were both wrong!
Perhaps some of the other translations are wrong as well....Possibly XX "Valeria Victrix" was meant to mean XX "Victoria's Secret"?
Magnus/Matt
Aha! That explains why he's wearing one of their tunics! Otherwise though, Douglas Adams was clearly right - the mice clearly are in overall control of all information and knowledge. Look how accurate their armour is, despite being featured somewhere in the Public Domain, a nefarius place normally inhabited by the worst excesses of Holywood.
