                    roman weapon ?
                   i have seen some roman movie but i am not satisfied.

Now you mention the it the only film I can think off where a Pilum is thrown, is the film Ben Hur (1959) and then it was as a competition not actually in battle, at least I dont recall any others most battle scenes are generally very poor...
