With the mention of the amphora maker in the UK of whom I'd not previously heard, I wanted to ask what other nifty suppliers that aren't on lists over here (like Matt Amt's Legio XX suppliers page:

dont recall seeing any suppliers of civilian clothing<br>

I have several pieces of Taylor and Hill; wonderful stuff those fellows make. They even do commissions; Art Gamon from California, who does a caupona modeled on ours, asked them to make copies of some vials and potions flasks and darned if they didn't do it in a matter of days.<br>

Gil Burroughes is the samian ware maker who only responds to snail mail, darn it. Great stuff too. I only wish I didn't have to pay the extra shipping and currency conversion costs! <p></p><i></i>

Thanks for the glassmaking link, Helena. A character in my novel is an importer of fine glass and that link is very informative.<br>
