Cappadocian kingdom Military organisation
#1
What was the standard issue of weapons to the military of the cappadocian kingdom during the reign of Ariobarzanes I? By this time they were working alongside the Romans, so would the gear be Romanized at all? Or would they be more Greek in nature? Then with their closeness to Parthia, I wonder if they would be similar to them too?

Thoughts?

For what we know, Ariobarzanes I was of Armenian descent. We are talking about 95 BC - 62 BC.
Parthian Empire expansion in the area was starting just at the time, with some incursions beyond the Euphrates recorded and in the Corduene, but far from being yet well established.

So, probably his army was nearer to a mixture of Armenian/Hellenistic army.
