Accurate but affordable custom helmet?

A good question. Have you contacted White Rose Armoury in the UK? The last time I discussed a project with them they were in your price range. BUT we are talking about a two or even three piece helmet, not one piece raised from a single sheet of metal.

As far as I know, there's not a single US or Canada based helmet maker taking orders. If there is a new person please share!

You can also do a brass G from a Russian or Ukrainian artisan, some are very good, that would probably be one piece and in your price range.

Have you considered asking an artisan to take a Deepeeka and modify it to fit your needs? I have an old Mark Morrow modified Deepeeka and it's pretty good.

Finally, for €500 you might be able to get a used custom helmet as that's a decent amount of money.
