Amphora suppliers?
#1
Has anyone come across a supply for amphora? I thought I'd found one supplier in the UK, but they never answer emails. There is, far as I can tell, no one in the US.

Rich what size do you want?
also does anyone want fiberglass amphorae to have in the background?
I can take some of the ones I have and get them copies in fiberglass, or use the fiberglass mold to make a slip mold to pour some. I have to rebuild the kiln, though, so it is not happening before Christmas 2003.
"Just before class started, I looked in the big book where all the world's history is written, and it said...." There is a very familiar type (have to look up the name) that is common, the one used for wine and seen often packed in ships. Looks about 2 1/2 foot tall or so, long pointed bottom, two handles, longish neck.
