Porto Vecchio belt plate help
#1
Hello,

I found a journal article written in German online about the belt plate found in Porto Vecchio. The article also has a drawing and the original belt plate with the buckle.

I cannot make out the figures very well so I do not know how detailed they are. Does anyone know if good pictures of this belt plate and buckle exist?

How large is the belt plate?

What museum is it in?

Hi Paolo!
I am making these plates. I´ll soon also have a buckle. The buckle in the picture is not the correct one.
Note, that the belt only had two plates. ;-)

Is that two pieces of leather sewn together?

No, this is a single-layer belt.
