Military units loyal to Postumus
#1
Greetings!

I have been trying to assemble a list of the military units that supported Postumus and the creation of the Gallic Empire.  Is there a comprehensive (dangerous word, I know) listing already extant?
I am writing a book set in that time frame and I want it to be as historically accurate as I can make it.  Don't want you guys hunting me down!

Thanks in advance.

Hello,
...due to computer and bandwith troubles only a quick'n dirty answer:
There are several papers dealing with phenomena of the second half of the 3rd century.
They are mostly in German and/or French.

e.g.
Die Krise des 3. Jhds n. Chr. und das Gallische Sonderreich -- Akten des Interdiziplinären Kolloquiums Xanten Feb. ,26.-28.Februar  2009 (Zakmira-Schriften Band 8)
The crisis of the 3rd century (AD) and the "Imperium Galliarum" (In German). Papers of the Interdisciplinary Kolloquium at Xanten (D) , 26.-28. February , 2009.
Wiesbaden 2012 Edited by Thomas Fischer, 429pp.
More on the Augsburg Victory Monument (In German):

Simplex, thanks for the links!!  They'll keep me busy for a while.  Quick is good but I am really looking forward to the dirty....

Good luck with the bandwidth/computer issue.  Firefox makes my PC rather finicky.  I hate that.
