Antonine Wall colours on sculptures

Glasgow University have managed to identify the colours used on some of the sculptures on the Antonine Wall.

What a pity they didn't show us what a coloured distance slab might've looked like.

Then again, this one has been on display in The Hunterian Museum for over 30 years. It was certainly there during my undergraduate days in the 1980s.
   

(And what a pity The Scotman journalist doesn't know how to spell minuscule.)
