Pompeii on the dicovery channel

I watched, and taped it, last night. Excusing the usual British accents of the romans, I thought it to be pretty good. I particularly liked the before and after shots. My wife found the scenes from Herculanium to be rather disturbing. Something to do with people getting turned into charcoal. <p></p><i></i>

I didn't like the chained up dog out in the street.<br>

I was kind of irked by the close-up shot of someone's foot going up a ladder and seeing an obviously modern sandal. Egads. The gladiators looked pretty Hollywood-esque as well. But overall, it was a pretty good show. The commericals every 5 minutes were particularily annoying tho'.<br>
