Rust on my Lorica Laminata
#1
Sad
Hello,
I'm new to the world of reenacting. I just received my Lorica Laminata(Segmentata) yesterday and noticed it was a bit rusty, I looked up several videos and asked several people and I was told to use vinegar and a sponge, long story short I did, the rust went but now there are weird markings left behind, how do I get rid of them? I would appreciate any answer.

Vinegar is an acid, it etches the metal. You need to take rust off with vinegar, then use baking soda to neutralize it, and then rinse it thoroughly with water. Then dry it with a towel and oil it thoroughly.

Thank you Smile

Also have another questions, do you know where I can purchase a deepeeka Imperial Gallic G that would ship to Canada? All the websites I've come across don't ship to Canada, cheers.
