Small Latin Translation Request
#1
Jenny Cline kindly suggested that I post here. I need the help of a Latin scholar in accurately translating this phrase from English to Latin for a non-profit medical website:

What [that which] consoles us will not save [rescue] us.

Any assistance or further suggestions on how to get help would be greatly appreciated.
A full version would be:

id quod nos consolatur non servabit.
That (id) which (quod) consoles (consolatur) us (nos) will not (non) save (servabit) us.

But more elegant would be:

solacium nos non servabit
A consolation (solacium) will not (non) save (servabit) us (nos).

Or:

solacium non est salus
Consolation (solacium) is (est) not (non) safety (salus).

If I can be of further assistance, my e-mail is [email protected]
Avete Omnes:

I've got another translation request, to wit:

"To the last man"

Signifying the willingness to fight until either all of the enemy are dead or all of one's own side are dead.

Salve:

Gaius Octavius Drusus
"ad extremum" or "ad ultimum" will do fine. The former is marginally preferable. Both have the sense of "to the bitter end".
