Antonine Wall Legionary Distance Slabs
#1
Though some of you may like to see these

This is a new page on my website showing rendered coloured images of the known Antonine Wall Legionary distance slabs - perhaps giving an indication of what these could have looked like originally.

If you click on the thumbnails it will open a new window showing a larger image of the distance slab plus some details about the inscriptions

That is really an excellent page. I hope it remains up, because it will be a great reference for some of the projects I have planned for my class next semester. Thank you for a great link!
"Just before class started, I looked in the big book where all the world's history is written, and it said...." Neil J. Many thanks!

These have been created using original line drawings by the late Margaret Scott from Lawrence Keppies guide book to the Antonine Wall Distance slabs and then have been rendered by Richard Hayton to try and recreate (with some artistic license!) what they may have looked like originally.

The last one has just been uploaded - I think its the best so far!
