What about this guy? Another red tunic

Does anybody know the provenance of the "Roman soldier", extracted from a fresco, that appears on page 102 of the Time-Life book "What Life Was Like When Rome Ruled the World". The extremely wide belt ove the muscle cuirass is very reminiscent of the warriors on the "Amazon battle" shield from Dura Europas, as is the oval shield and sword on the left side. Alternatively, it may be a Repbulican-era warrior, and the helmet does look like a Montefortino. The book doesn't say anything about where this figure came from. Somebody with greater computer skills than myself may want to scan and post this image on this link for everyone to see/comment on.<br>
