Is this real/fake? Royal Ontario Museun
#1
I spotted this while surfing the web the other day  https://www.pinterest.com/pin/440015826065772417/   and have never seen this before. It seems fake but if real I'm guessing it's from the early Republic/Samnite era. It is from the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto. Does anybody know anything about this helmet or the scale cuirass?

I believe that the museum believes they are at the very least of dubious ancestry....

They do apparantly have some genuine pieces from Dura though...

Not a dwelling within sight, and the farm labourer, and curious traveller, are the only persons that ever visit the scene where once so many thousands were congregated." T.Lewin 1867

Thanks, I tried looking for any info but came up short. That explains my suspicions that they were fakes!!!
