JMJ -
I want to buy wool to make a tunic (currently making one out of white linen because that's what I can get my hands on locally). My question is, what kind of wool to buy? There are apparently different kinds, and I'm not sure which one is better.
Any help is appreciated.

Any good sources for that type of wool? Madder dyed or Natural.
Same with Linen, or that Pretty generalized?

Herringbone or diamond twill are accurate weaves for linen and wool. I'm not sure where you can purchase a fabric weaved like that in the US, to be honest.
Also it's "Roma Victrix" not "Roman Victor." Sorry that bugs me.
