JRMES 17 (2016)
#1

The new, full-colour issue of JRMES (volume 17 for 2016) will be published next week to coincide with ROMEC XVIIII at St Andrews. This is the volume of proceedings from ROMEC XVIII in Copenhagen.

Participants at the conference will be able to subscribe at a specially reduced rate to reflect the fact that I don't have to pay postage to ship the things out! Everybody else will be able to subscribe later in the month, once I get back home and get everything set up (I am also speaking shortly afterwards at the Reading the Wall conference in Newcastle so won't be home until 20th June). Pricing has yet to be finalised, but expect it to be close to the rates for the crowdfunding packages. It (and 14/15 and 16) will also make it into shops and online retailers, but expect it to be 40% more in cost than a subscription (and there'll be no Arma, which is exclusive to subscribers), reflecting the overhead I have to pay retailers.

Meanwhile, here are images of the contents pages to whet your appetites.

This looks great! If some of those archaeological finds on Hunnic military equipment are ever translated into English, I hope to submit an article to JRMES one day.

In the meantime, I'll double-check to make sure I'm subscribed, if not, I will ASAP.

The subscription page for JRMES 17 (2016) is now online.

Since I still don't have a treasurer or a society account I'm having to put it through my own PayPal account again. Not good, since Brexit wiped $200 off its value the other day.
