Does anyone know a good sight or resource book that I could look into that would give me a detailed idea of how the Romans treated the Jews and vise versa? Or perhaps someone knows off the top of their head. That would be great, too.I have a general idea, but more detail would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Josephus is an excellent place to start. 
 
Kind of spare, but reading the Gospels can give you a little insight into the politics of the Pharisees.

I read a book called Pontius Pilate which is available on half.com. It's a historical novel built around the available historical records and gives great insight on the mindset of both the Jews and Romans. I found it to be entertaining and informative.

Oh, yes, Paul Maier's "Pontius Pilate" is excellent. The author swears he can document almost everything in the book, and in the back he lists his evidence! There is a classic scene where the Jewish leaders are objecting to something Pilate has done--both sides are being calm and trying to speak reasonably, but both are also thinking, "This is so simple, why don't they get it?" Great example of two cultures just not connecting. 
 
Josephus is definitely the horse's mouth for the subject, but before trying to wade through him, pick up a copy of Peter Connolly's "The Holy Land" (or whatever it's called this month!). It's basically the high points of Josephus made readable and fleshed out with wonderful supplementary info and illustrations in true Connolly style. Great page on crucifixion! Also has Herod's family tree, which really helps in understanding Josephus.

Wow, that's quite a rare thing! Sounds like a great read. I'll be sure to check it out. 
Where might I find Peter Connolly's "Holy Land"? It sounds like a good resource with a good author. Peter certainly knows how to present his work!

I've read vastly differing information about The Letters of Pontius Pilate. I believe the book was written in the 20s, and I've seen reviews that support the history of it as well as reviews calling it unequivocal rubbish. 
 
I've never read it, but I take everything with a grain of salt and leave hisotrically proving this or that thing to the historians.
