I was equipped as an archer, my fellow climbers were equipped as light infantry with spear and small shield. Two carried axes, one a spatha (as did I), and Jamie wore scale armour (which I think he regretted ...).<br>

We climbed from Hardknott Roman fort to the top of Scafell Pike, the highest mountain in England. We did it last Saturday.<br>
