Hello RAT folks, I'm glad to meet you !

My name is Armand, I'm a 21 y-o french history student. My passion for Rome started at around the age of 12 with the french cartoon "Astérix" and moved forward at 15 with a history book, by Claude Mossé, introducing the Ancient World. I started reenactment last year with a small local association (Nasium), we started a daring project to build a small roman military fort out of wood and the result is amazing.
I joined them as a roman legionnaire and I'm glad I did, it was a refreshing experience and a dream coming to life, it changed a lot in my personality for the better.

I wish to be successful in my studies and become, perhaps one day, a respected Rome specialist !
I'm already a member of the facebook group so I decided maybe it was the moment for me to join the forum as well.
By the way, I'm looking for a latin name and I found "Quintus Sempronius" to be quite appealing and original, my nickname being "Pontifex".

See ya all later !

Ps : I'm currently playing Caesar IV and listening to Ex Deo's album "Caligula" Wink

Hi, Armand

Welcome to the RAT Forum! Big Grin

Glad to hear you enjoy reenactment. It builds character and is a great way to inform the public about the Roman era. My specialty is researching the Indo-Iranian steppe cultures, particularly the Alans. Anyway, enjoy the forum and become an active participant.
