New legionary camp on the Lower Rhine ???

this is for sure puzzling but I have another theory, is something that happens in the area of Porolissum too only that is about 20 km in Barbaricum, I suppose this is a "training" zone where more camps were made. They found 3 near Porolissum.

The garrison will march for a day build a camp sleep there for a nite come back. And then some years later do the same thing.
Hi Gelu,
..... forgive me, but I think I'll have to disagree.
Let me explain:
Although there have been (and still will be) singular finds of such camps along the Netherrhine and the adjacent areas, I think a lot of these grounds for building exercising-camps for the "exercitus germaniae inferioris" seem to have been spotted already -- elsewhere.
Their sizes are "more than a scale up" from this area at Steincheshof.
1) South of Xanten/Vetera (> garrison of Vetera)
