Left of where you log out is your control centre. In that is an inbox. You will find my mail there. I think I can find some images that may help you if you are more interested in the later 2nd century, rather than the 3rd, legionary rather than auxiliary.
Cheers
Hi Andy

I would be really grateful for that. Have found your mail now. Been doing 1st century re-enactment for quite a while now and run my own small group, but it's always nice to have a change. Am always keen to try and link up with other groups but they are not always so keen which is a shame cos' there ain't that many of us. Have done a little with the Ermine Street, what about yourself. Am hoping to come up to Hadrian's Wall in May, Maybe we could all meet up and share some tales of untold bravery!! (and a few bevvies) what do you think?
Hi Ferox,

I'm interested to read that your keen to interact with other groups. The Chester Roman Event would certainly be something for you to consider as one of the best multi legion events you will find.

Last year we were hosts to , among others the VIII Augusta, XIIII Gemina, the new IX Hispania from York, I Claudian, Brittania Gladiators, the Vicus, two different groups of celts and the Devils Horsemen Charioteers.

I'm sure if you have contacts amongst any of the above they would recommend us.

To all the above thanks for your great work last year and hope to see you all at this years event 25th and 26th of June
Salve Gaius

Thanks for the offer would be very interested. Perhaps you could mail me more details of the event. Unfortunately I have no contacts in the groups you mention as have only been involved in re-enactment for about 18 months but always been very interested in ancient history. So very keen to grow and learn. Am based in Devon but as mentioned before will be "North of Watford" in May so see you then?
