Your opinion about Romanarmy.com
#1
Hi all,
It seems the Round-Table isn't as well read as it might be. In there's a thread about a new design for Romanarmy.com. We want YOUR opinion, so let's have it!
Greets
Somehow I get the feeleing that Romanarmy.com isn't as well visited either. Many of the people I chat with always tell me about "RAT", yet don't seem to know about RomanArmy.com. It's another mystery of the e-verse, how some sites and threads are visited and others are ignored.

Well, we get plenty of hits, though not as many as RAT. It does indeed seem as if not too many people realize they belong together. Maybe that would become better if RAT was incorporated in the site through Yabb and/or PHP?
Greets
Maybe, but I am not prepared to give up the anonymous posting ability of ezboard, which is important for some people with sensitive jobs or positions.

And why would nonsensical anonymous ID's be impossible on yabb?
Greets
It would probably help if we talk about it more here, and include a link in the conversations. Maybe the RomanArmy.com could somehow become an archive of inportant discussions here, so that we don't lose them at the whim of ezboard. I am guilty of rarely viewing RA.com, even though it is interesting to me. I am trying now to scan a couple of photos I took of a ?"Roman monument"? at Sevastopol, but the photo just didn't work out to allow me to view the wording, so it's mainly useless. I am asking a friend to visit the museum and shoot some new photos, but it will probably have to wait until summer.

Well, if someone wants to do just that, archive the discussions on here, consolidate them in text files, I'd be happy to put them online.
Greets
