Virginia JCL November 22-23
#1
It looks like we will be invited once more to the Virginia Junior Classical League convention the weekend (that is, Sunday and Monday) before Thanksgiving. This VJCL is the largest student Latin conference in the US, with about 1900 students taking up most of the Richmond Convention Center. For those who wish to attend the conference provides free room and meals, and our host Legio XX can help with most if not all of the other expenses.

Those wishing to help out will be most welcome, mostly in interacting with hundreds of interested Latin high school students from across Virginia. If you can attend only one day, that's fine too. We have as many civilians as military, and have Celts and Greeks there as well as Romans.

We also will have need of subject matter speakers for one hour lectures to up to 200 students: topics can be what you are most expert and comfortable in.

If you are interested in attending, let me know.
