Artwork of early Imperial soldiers
#1
The first piece of artwork I've had commissioned for the new book is ready...everyone, meet Tullus and Fenestela, who are two of the main characters in Eagles at War, which is set in Germany, in AD 9. Tullus is a veteran senior centurion, and Fenestela is his trusty optio. I love it!

(Big thanks to Jenny Dolfen, who painted this amazing piece.)
