Out of print author\'s alliance

Bloomberg's Virginia Postrel pointed me to this alliance which is working on getting various books back in print:

Though she says they are still too small to make much headway, it may be something folks here could throw their weight behind. I'm sure Jasper alone could tip the balance.

Would not an E-book platform make much more sense in this day and age of digital media? The cost threshhold would be far lower for something like that, I presume.

Interestingly, Virginia wrote right back and said that ebooks were a main goal of the alliance.
