I obtained this object some years ago, the seller said that it had been found within the roots of an upturned tree close to Hadrians Wall, any ideas

This is another photo of the item, it measures 75cm long

Thanks for your reply, I am trying to add another photo, as what it does not show, is the pointed iron rod to the left of the photo, the length of the complete item is 75cm long. Regards John
