Hi everyone,
I'm looking into literature about Roman camp settlements/villages (western half of the empire, 1st-3rd centuries). I don't seem to find any major publications or 'overviews' regarding the theme on itself, mostly studies about one particular location.
Are there any publications you think I should really know of?
Thanks in advance! Continuing my search in the meanwhile...
Edit: the one publication with the seemingly broadest scope I have traced so far is "The canabae and vici of Roman Britain" by D.J.P. Mason (University of Liverpool, 1984), but it looks like a Ph.D. dissertation and not quite easily available anywhere, as far as I can see.
