Author, help needed
#16
Just an update,

I have been in contact with both the biographer of Samuel Bronston and Jeffry Hunter. Neither could provide any answers to this question.

There is certainly an author called Anthony Bevan who as stated previously wrote about British India. At least two of his novels were made into films starring Victor Mature. So there is a link to films. However this does not prove it is the same person as the author of the Roman titles who advised on 'King of Kings'. The biographer of Hunter was intrigued by my question and said they would try and investigate further.

There is a review on Amazon to one of the Anthony Bevan novels by someone who say's the book was by their father. So I have written a comment in the hope of getting a response.

Graham.
