Centurion helmet?
#1
Hi
I have tried the search but that does not appear to be working. Can anyone therefore post a picture or a link to the supposed Centurion helmet which appears to have evidence that the crest was tied at the sides, presumably for the transverse crest? Has anyone re-constructed this helmet or do they have any further details?

Thanks in advance.

Graham.

This helmet makes me wonder how much decorative silver sheet is missing from other helmets. One can only begin to speculate what the helmet looked like with the silver sheet intact?
