I found that reference to the unit in the 10th century: it was the Theodosiaci (There are several Theodosian Legions, around 10 or so and a few cavalry units too) and the Victores (Auxilia Palatina) who are mentioned as being part of an expeditionary army to Italy in 935.

Ross Cowan mentions them both in his article 'The Longest Lived Legion'
