Hello,

I apologize if the title may be misleading but I am looking to purchase Vegetius' De Re Militari. Is there a most recommended English version that I should purchase?

Yes - this one:

Vegetius - Milner translation

It's the best easily available modern English translation, as far as I know - most of the others are based on incomplete translations made a very time ago... ;-)
