Caer Caradoc / Coedcae Gaer
#1
Hi All,

I live in Mid-Glamorgan and recently stumbled across the above hillfort and surrounding area including St Peters Church, and a potential walled ancient city.

After trawling through various websites online I've ended up here in the hope of some background/history to the area!

I've read about Blackett & Wilson's hypothesis from 1983, but couldn't find any results or progress following the work carried out. I'm specifically interested in the hillfort, but if anything has any information it would be greatly appreciated!

:-)

Welcome to RAT!

This site will give you all the published references for the site which you can then look up either on line or in libraries. It includes "grey" papers (unpublished) and has some direct links.

There is also this which could assist with research papers including some unpublished work.
