Hmm... we thought he had contacted only the Moderators. I've banned him for a wee while until we check his credentials, although I have PM'd him as well

Same here. Actually it didn't occur to me that he was spamming, I just dashed off a "sorry, can't afford to buy anything right now."

He doesn't seem to have thought it worth sending one to me.

I also got a PM from him and if now he is a member of RAT I think that he should use the correct area to present himself and his products.

Got it too and responded. Indian manufacturers have done good things for reenactors from Russia (at different periods). But this company, I do not know. Maybe they are doing something good, too?
But their advertising specialists ... they are like children
Ergo bibamus!

Just recieved mine, seems posting an introduction and, maybe some samples would be more efficent than contacting us as individuals.

Not a bad idea,I would give him this advice:
Introduce himself publicly, post some pictures of work, ask questions and,do research to show that he has an interest in making more than just money  , then let customers come to him.
Personaly I'd have a pretty good stock pile of blades made in the time it would take to send every member a PM to see if they were looking for one, figure I'll make them and,if someone is looking they will tell me.
