Can anyone comment on \'Medieval Arms\' website?

Does anyone know if the Roman kit from this lot is any good?
Adrian Wink at Armamentaria is out of pila, and I need one, soonish. 1st C AD.
Does anyone know of anyone else in Europe who can supply a 1st C AD pilum that isn't too expensive?
Many thanks.

Hi Ben!

I have ordered some items here, some are good, some are not. I think this pilum looks quite nice for the price:

Besides Adrian I can recommend armae.com

It's a company with good service. They just stock large numbers of India manufactured gear (mainly deepeeke where their Roman section is taken into account). There Germany based mother-company is ' Aus omas truhe'.

Celtic Web Merchant has some awesome stuff sometimes, but some of their stuff sucks. Be careful.

They have their own (This one seems iffy to me):

They also sell the Deepeeka one:

They do usually have some awesome Late Roman Stuff, but a lot of their clothes and other items are re-sold from Medievaldesign (probably without their permission). There's some other stuff I've seen on there I think they re-sell (without permission).

Did we get a verdict on Medieval-arms.co.uk? I'm looking at the AH6725.

That belt should be fine. It is the same Deepeeka one that Armamentaria sells.

Indeed, but is the site a reliable vendor?

I haven't any experience of them myself, so I can't really comment. Sorry.

Just got my order from this site. I'll vouch for them now. Quick shipping (DHL) upon payment. The deepeeka belt is exactly as advertised for half the price anywhere else I looked. Their tunicas are deepeeka full sleeve linen for only 28 USD, again cheaper than elsewhere. From shipping notification to my front door in the Eastern US: 6 days.

Recently ordered (two separate orders) again from these guys. Painless, quick, and cheap. Three for three.
