Bosporan Impressions?
#1
Has anyone ever done a Bosporan Impression? Any timeframe (they lasted until Late Roman Era), I'd just like to see.

Actually yes, I live in the US and i thought a Bosporan impression would be fun to do after my Late Roman impression is done.

It could be fun to get a lamellae cuirass for my Late Roman impression, and could do a Late Bosporan impression as well (3rd/4th century). I don't think anyone has done that before.

Also, I would like some information on the Bosporan Military - from all eras. although I have always found the Bosporan Kingdom interesting, I know very little about it other than the tombstone dating to 488 A.D. about a Roman Garrison in Cherson, and what's on wikipedia (which isn't reliable probably).

Information about weapons, armor, generals, battles, history, etc would all be great.

Thanks RATer's,
