Hi all,
I am curious about these fabric belts that seem to pop up on various statues. It appears to be fabric, and is worn over the curiass. I am wondering if anyone knows more about them? Like whether they were fabric, what type of fabric, weave, etc.
Like the one on this statue of Caesar.
