Need help with Gallic D helmet rivets!

After months of hard work and many problematic situations, my "selfmade" helmet Gallic D nears completion.<br>
<br>
Just one problem left to overcome! How are the rivets which secure the cheekpiece-hinges and the silver rosets manufactured? I just can't figure it out. Even seeing the rivets up close (behind the glas of the display) at my visit to Mainz last weekend did not really help. They seem to look like a modern bolt with eight sides with a layer of email on top.<br>
Is it one piece or is it made of several pieces soldered together?<br>

Your help wil be greatly appreciated, and of course photos of the helmet will follow!<br>

You can look for it at the Armamentarium-website under artefacts/helmets/Germany/Mainz 2.<br>
<br>
It was destroyed during WWII, but there are enhanced pictures.<br>
<br>

No, I mean the rivets on the helmetbowl which hold the hinge for the cheekpiece. Those rivets are different from the ones on the cheekpiece itself.<br>

Wish I could help Jurgen , but the photo doesn't show enough of the detail you've been able to see in person.<br>
