The city of Lahr is proudly announcing what I'd call an "intermediate roundup" on the research
at Lahr-Dinglingen which is one of the most throughly excavated and published roman civilian site
in the german southwest. After 10 years now, the research will still go on until 2015 at least, culminating in the rekonstruction of a roman "stripe" house at the Landesgartenschau (Gardening Fair) Baden-Württemberg at Lahr in 2018. Present will be Dr. Alexander Heising from the University ar Freiburg together with both the chief excavators and researchers there, Lars Blöck and Florian Tränckle, along with the "usual local officials".
The press-conference (?) will be held at the Altes Rathaus, Kaiserstraße 1, Lahr, on November 23rd,
