That is my intent with the red. Its not only that I like the color. Blue would be nice as well. I was not thinking of
Vegetius when I wrote my post. I was looking at blue in general. However, I must assume that the Romans used whatever color they
like otherwise, everyone in the legions would be wearing red or brown while everyone in the navy just blue.
