Medals are back!
#1
Hi all!
I've been able to find a new medal system, so we can reintroduce the medals we used to have. 1, 2 and 5-year membership medals will be awarded automatically to members with the required length of membership & who have been on the site in the last 90 days. If you are absent a long time and then hop back in, you'll be awarded at that time.

To be honest, I'm not sure I'll be able to reconstruct exactly who had which medal, but one step at a time...

I liked the system, it rewarded friendly behavior and discouraged unpleasant competitiveness.

I don't remember which ones I had, either, but all mine were only one pixel thick, if that helps. Cool

Well, a bit premature, but stay a member for another five years and we'll forgive you! 8-)

I have been a member since March 2011, so I think that I am entitled to a one-year medal. How will I know if I have got one?

Well, until I figure out how to display them on profiles, you can only see them in the overall list. The Forum menu option at the top left has a 'Medals' sub option with the currently installed medals. Click one and you'll get an alphabetical list with awardees.

I know it takes a lot of your time to get all these details, Jasper. Thank you for all your work! :!:
